Day 297
Day 296
Day 295
Day 294
Jagatjit Singh Bahadur, Maharaja of Kapurthala (1872-1949).
I’ve been reading about him and also about his wife Anita Delgado who was a Spanish flamenco dancer and who wrote a book about the traveling she did with her husband in Europe and India.
The Maharaja’s life story is quite interesting considering he lived during the years that India was a part of the British Empire and also during two world wars.
(A fun anecdote I found on Wikipedia was this one: “Probably as a reminiscence of his marriage with Anita Delgado, Don Pimpón, a character in the Spanish version of Sesame Street, claimed to have travelled the world extensively with “his friend the Maharaja of Kapurthala”, namely the guy of today’s 365 Masquerades.)
Thank you so much to D for lending me the fantastic Indian clothing, shoes and headpiece.
Read more about Jagatjit Singh here.
Today’s inspirational picture of the “original”:
And oh, his full name and style was Major General His Highness Farzand-i-Dilband Rasikhal Iqtidadi Daulati Inglishia, Raja-i-Rajagan, Maharaja Sir Jagatjit Singh Bahadur, Maharaja of Kapurthala.
Can you beat that? 🙂
Today’s article
Today’s article in Sydsvenskan, foreshadowing my upcoming 365 Masquerades exhibition this coming spring. (And getting the project’s name just a little bit wrong!)
EDIT: They changed the name to the correct one now.

Fan paraphrase(s) – updated!
A fan of 365 Masquerades put this paraphrase of my caged red bird from the other day on Instagram. Sweet!
UPDATE:
Another one! 🙂
Great news! 365 Masquerades becomes an art exhibition
I just came back from a meeting at the art gallery Makeriet in Malmö (yes I took my cat Zwanzig with me!).
Ok, now for the news: 365 Masquerades is becoming an art exhibition and will be exhibited at Makeriet this spring! More info to come further on.

Day 291
Another 10 minute challenge! (10 min. Do something. No planning.) I call it the Kitchen Scarecrow Robot.
Day 290
Lecture time!
Newsflash!
Me and a friend Gustav are doing a lecture and workshop on November 17th about two totally different ways of approaching a creative process. This is a happening for the students at Dramalogen but there will also be a possibility for anyone else with an interest to take a part of this full day of art/psychology/creativity theory. For my part, the theory and practice of 365 Masquerades will be a big part of this day.
